As a tribute to the Activision classic released in 1982, developer "Buckaroo" (UK) presents us with «Pitfall 2024!»: a reinterpretation of the legendary game that is inspired by the art of the original Atari 2600 box.
Created by David Crane, “Pitfall!” became an icon of the era, taking players on a thrilling journey through a jungle filled with traps, crocodiles and obstacles. The goal was to collect treasures and reach the highest score within a time limit. In “Pitfall 2024!”, Buckaroo has captured the essence of the classic title, incorporating graphics that evoke the aesthetics of box art, full of color and detail.
The playable version currently available on Newgrounds allows players to experience this new adventure with an intuitive interface and mechanics that respect the gameplay of the original.
