Andy Omelyanenko (Australia) fixed the Atari 8-bit version of "Feud" (Bulldog Software, 1987) which had a bug that prevented the player from collecting one of the game's most important plants.
In the original version, the player was unable to pick up the herb "Knap Weed", used for the lightning spell. In addition to this fix, Omelyanenko has added an invincibility option for beginners and a version where the enemy mage cannot recover indefinitely, improving gameplay for all skill levels. In “Feud,” players take on the role of Learic, a sorcerer who must defeat his twin brother Leanoric within a day, before succumbing to an aging spell. The game combines exploration and strategy, where players must gather herbs to craft spells and confront Leanoric. The game world, Little Dullford, includes a variety of locations such as a graveyard, a garden, a village and a stream. Players must collect plants and bring them to the cauldron to create spells, which they will then use in battles against Leanoric. The goal is to drain the enemy's energy before he drains the player's.
