Following the success of their digital editions, Atari 8-bit fans will now be able to enjoy «Mikie» and «Cyborg Warriors» in cartridge format. These new versions, developed by the team led by Krzysztof "Vega" Góra, will be available for purchase from September this year.

The colorful and original game “Mikie”, originally developed by Konami in 1984, has received major updates for its cartridge release. In this new version, the game has had its drawing procedures sped up, allowing for smoother and faster performance, especially on the PAL system. In addition, a crucial bug has been fixed: now, when the main character sits at a desk, the jaw thrown by the professor will no longer kill him.

This version 1.13 of «Mikie» is optimized to run on a standard Atari with 64KB of memory, making it accessible to a wider range of players. According to "Vega", this new edition is significantly faster than the previous version 1.12, but will be available exclusively in cartridge format.

The critically acclaimed shooter Cyborg Warriors, originally released for the BBC Micro in 1991, is also being made available on cartridge for the Atari 8-bit. This title, which allows simultaneous cooperation between two players, has been optimised to take full advantage of the Atari XL/XE's graphics and colour capabilities.
Krzysztof "Kaz" Ziembik, who has been instrumental in improving the game's graphics and testing, will be responsible for the physical production of these cartridges. Both versions will be available in a deluxe boxed edition, offering collectors and platform enthusiasts a chance to add these titles to their libraries.
