The exciting previews of «Time Wizard Deluxe» for Atari 8-bit computers continue. Through a fourth video, Krzysztof "Amarok" Piotrowski (Poland) has revealed more new features of this extended edition of his acclaimed game «Time Wizard».
Among the new features, the inclusion of a new type of field that blocks time manipulation stands out. When the hero enters this field, he cannot pause or rewind it; but he can do so again once he leaves the restricted area.An exciting addition is a surprise action at the end of each level. Some levels may have a special action after taking all the hourglasses. In the example shown, force fields are activated.
One improvement is the inclusion of a hero resurrection counter. After completing a level, information is displayed on how many times you had to rewind time to come back to life, offering a new perspective on the difficulty of each stage. On the other hand, Amarok has released the latest version of the level editor, v1.9. The binaries and changelog are available on its GitHub repository.
