After many long days of work, the team led by Krzysztof "Vega" Góra (Poland) has fixed the compatibility issues of the port of «Mikie» for Atari 8-bit computers.
Among the most notable features of this final version is an updated memory detection procedure to make the game work on the Atari XEGS console and on virtually all unusual memory extensions.Additionally, colors specific to computers with NTSC video mode have been improved, eliminating annoying flickering on the title screen.
Additionally, new description screens have been added at the beginning of the game and a new melody has been added when saving our scores. It is worth remembering that the first version of «Mikie» for Atari XL/XE series computers was shared at the beginning of May. This version 1.12 is already available and promises to be a delight for arcade fans.
