Japanese programmer Inufuto surprises us once again with his latest title, "Hopman", the fourteenth game he has created for various retro systems, including the Atari 8-bit computers.

In this game, the protagonist embarks on a mission to collect as many flags as possible and reach the finish line, located at the far right of the screen. At first glance, this task might seem simple, but the complexity lies in skillfully dodging enemies, avoiding deadly traps, and making sure not to fall into holes. In addition, he faces time pressure, as he must complete each stage before the clock runs out.

As usual, Inufuto has developed over 30 versions of "Hopman" for a wide range of systems, ranging from the TRS-80 CoCo, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Apple II, VIC-20 (VIC-1001) and MSX, to lesser-known machines in the West such as the Bandai RX-78, Casio FP-1100, C64 Japan, Fujitsu Micro 7, Mitsubishi MULTI8, Sharp MZ-2200, Matsushita JR-100 and Hitachi MB-6890 computers, among others.
However, it is important to highlight one aspect that some users have pointed out as a negative point: the repetition of the melody used by Inufuto in almost all of its nearly 15 games, which cover a variety of genres, such as ships, platforms, mazes and others.
