Back by popular demand is the Atari Retro-pen: a device for storing and loading thousands of programs onto an Atari XL/XE series computer.
It is a pendrive with a micro SD memory with 32 GB capacity, to whichJuan "Donlupi" Neculpan (Chile) adapted a connectorfor the SIO port of the home computer.
The Atari Retropen comes programmed with a menu for joystick navigation through a massive Atari 8-bit software compilation, consisting of nearly 3,500 games and 4,000 demos.
The device is 100% practical: it does not require any additional cables or configuration. It works as a plug'n play, with a high data loading speed. As if that were not enough, there are eight case designs to choose from, inspired by such beloved titles as Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Draconus, E.T., Bruce Lee, among others.
Each RETROPEN is sold for 40,000 Chilean pesos (about USD 50.00); and for users outside of Chile, shipping costs must be added. Those interested can place their orders through therespective announcement on Facebook Marketplace.
