Build English words by rotating columns and rows of letters in Cross Verbix, the sixth game developed by Fabrizio Caruso (Italy) with his open source framework CrossLib.
The program is somewhat similar to the classic board game Scrabble, and to a much lesser extent to Tetris: you must put together English words correctly by rotating columns of letters or rotating the bottom row before the other letters reach the top of the screen. You can get extra points if you complete the level early by clearing the stack of letters below the second row. Remember that CrossLib can be compiled for about 200 devices, including 8-bit computers, consoles, calculators, and others. To date, Caruso has also developed Cross Chase, Cross Shoot, Cross Bomber, Cross Snake and Cross Horde. All of them support both tile-based and no graphics (ASCII graphics).
