More than 50 screens, a stereo soundtrack and ST mouse support are featured in "OnEscape," a graphic adventure game for Atari 8-bit computers.
The project has been involving Marek "Poison" Pesout (idea, music), Zdeněk "PG" Eisenhammer (graphics) and Frantisek "Fandal" Houra (code) for years, under the name Vortador Games.
Speaking to Atariteca, "Poison" highlighted that "OnEscape" will offer the player a post-apocalyptic story with a huge atmosphere. It will also have more than 30 minutes of soundtrack - for which it is recommended to have a double POKEY chip.

He also left open the possibility that the game could be translated into other languages in the future. "We use a proportional font almost everywhere. But first, Fandal would have to be willing to add support for additional languages. And we definitely want to finish the English version first," he said on the AtariAge forum.

He added that the game is 90% complete, so it should be ready by the last quarter of 2022. "OnEscape" will be distributed as a digital download; and also in a limited edition, on a 1Mb cartridge.
