The powerful melody of the original is what brings us the second version of the port for Atari 8-bit computers of the classic "Commando" (Capcom, 1985), which uses the VBXE graphics card.
As we reported a few days ago, the port was made by Janusz "Shanti77" Chabowski (Poland) from the code of the Commodore 64 version, written by Chris Butler.
This update is notable for including a POKEY version of the immortal musical composition by the no less famous Rob Hubbard. In addition, it now runs on both PAL and NTSC systems.
It is worth remembering that the VBXE generates high-quality RGB images, with a resolution of up to 640x480i; and allows 1024 colors from a 21-bit palette.
