Seven demos, more than a dozen animations and other content is what New Years Disk 2022 offers for Atari XL/XE computers.
The sixteenth edition of the annual compilation by German Ralf "PPs" Patschke consists of five disc images. This year's participants were Mario "Emkay" Krix (Germany), Pawel "Sikor" Sikorski (Poland), Steve "Snicklin" Nicklin, Filippo "Philsan" Santellocco (Switzerland), Christian "Buddy" Duesterhoeft (Germany), Freddy "F#READY" Offenga (Netherlands), Michal "Miker" Szpilowski (Poland) and Zdenek "PG" Eisenhammer (Czech Republic).
First up is “Pokémon Pokédex,” which features profiles and stats for 151 characters from Nintendo’s popular franchise, from the original Red/Blue version of the Game Boy handheld console.
Likewise, we can highlight the intro "80's", made by Duesterhoeft and Patschke.
There are also several Christmas-themed content items, such as Santellocco's "Snowtree" and "PPS's" XMas 2021."
On the fourth disc we discover the demo «Runout» by Krix, which combines parts of "Magical Sound Shower" and "Splash Wave", both classic melodies from the beloved «Outrun» (SEGA, 1986).
