    Download | More than 50 new levels for «Laura»

    More than fifty new and challenging levels is what the latest edition of "Laura" brings us, an adventure and logic game for Atari 8-bit computers (ArSoft Corporation, 2016).


    These are 56 boards presented at thecontest organized by the Polish website "Retro na Gazie"on September 23rd.


    Together with Adam "Borsuk" Stępień - editor of "Retro na Gazie" - the creator of the game, Arkadiusz "Larek" Lubaszka, evaluated the contestants within the framework of one of hisbroadcasts titled "Gramy na Gazie"on YouTube. The authors and their levels are:

    • First place: Petr Kuric with 16 screens. He won a collector's edition of the game, signed by its author.
    • Second place: Robert Janicki with 32 screens. He won a copy of “New Adventures of Laura” signed by its author.
    • Third place: "Retrek" with 6 screens.
    • Other honorable mentions: "GRooBY" with one level; as well as Germán "devwebcl" González-Morris.

    The game is in the form of a CAR file, i.e. a virtual copy of the cartridge. It can be run on any standard Atari XL/XE with 64 KB RAM (PAL version) using one of the many supports for such files - such as SIDE3, AVGCart and the like.


    It should be remembered that Lubaszka released alevel editor for pc("Laura Konstruktor"), in June 2017. Four months later, she organized the first level contest for "Laura". The 16 best boards were sold in cassette formatunder the title of «New Adventures of Laura»by December 2018.
