Ken Jennings (USA) posted a preview of his port for Atari 8-bit computers of Darren Foulds' 1NVADER -originally for the Commodore 64.
"One Button. One Alien. One Life" is the premise of this game where we must shoot down enemy UFOs using only the shooting button.
The joystick is of no use here. Also, firing changes the direction of movement of your tank. Enemies accelerate as they descend the screen... and you only have one life available.
The various colours and movement of the mountains during each game stand out. However, there is no music or sound effects at the moment.
The author claims to have tested "1nvaders" on the Altirra and Atari800 emulators, with a minimum of 48K of RAM.
