After seven years, Bill Kendrick offers us the sequel to "Invenies Verba", a challenging word puzzle game in six different languages for Atari 8-bit computers.
While the original version, published in 2014, only offered two language options (English and German), this second version also offers Polish, Spanish, Italian, French and English (British and American).
The author points out that dictionaries only consider 15 ASCII characters (from A to Z) from each alphabet; however, the program will accept as valid words that normally have an accent (such as "goodbye", for example). Kendrick admits, however, that it still needs to support some special letters - such as the German ß.
The player must create as many words as possible with the letters offered at random, before time runs out - represented by animated flames located to the left of each letter.

Likewise, Invenies Verba 2 introduces a practice mode, where the letter meters fill up, but the game does not end automatically. In addition, you can press the "D" key on the title screen to toggle the dark mode. And a small help screen ("H" or HELP key) has been added, which provides very brief game instructions.
Finally, Bill points out that he took the trouble to port the TurboBASIC XL code from the first version to C, line by line.
It is worth remembering that the name of the game comes from Latin and translates as "Find the words." The idea is based on "LEX", an iPhone and Android application from Simple Machine LLC.
