Harrier Attack! shoot'em up version discovered for Atari

After 38 years since its release for other platforms, a version of the shoot'em up Harrier Attack! has just appeared for Atari 8-bit computers.
AtariAge forum user wesmond managed to acquire a tape containing the game, written by Ron Merson for Durell Software Ltd. (UK) in 1983, at an eBay auction.
The action puts us in control of a plane that must bomb a series of targets on the ground; in addition to using rockets to combat other enemy planes. Harrier Attack! already had versions for ZX-Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64.
Once loaded, you must enter the number 1 and press the Return key. Then, enter your name - with a maximum of eight characters - and press Return again. Next, choose the level, pressing a number between 1 and 5.
Oddly enough, you don't use a joystick to control the plane. Instead, you must use the control keys:
START (F2 at Altirra): fire a missile / drop a bomb.
SELECT (F3 on Altirra): lands / descends.
OPTION (F4 on Altirra): take off / ascend.
The game is apparently a prototype, as sometimes you will be killed as soon as you start the level. Also, the program tends to crash after six minutes of playing.
