Finnish musician Kiureli Sammallahti has released a music video using sounds and effects generated by an Atari 600XL computer.

This is the video clip "Rannalla istuja" -which translates as "the one sitting on the beach- in which he introducedsamplesof the programMicroRhythm (Firebird, 1987)and Colourspace graphics (Antic Software, 1986).

"As far as audio goes, I sampled sounds from the POKEY chip and MicroRhythm drums. For the video, I used Colourspace to create patterns on a CRT monitor and used them as an overlay on the images," he explained.in the AtariAge forum

The composer used the Atari 1064 module, which adds 48k of memory to the 600XL's 16K to make it 64K. It should be noted that this was the only parallel bus interface (PBI) product released for the Atari XL line of computers.
