Cross Bomber is the title of the simple but challenging game that is added to the catalog of programs by Fabrizio Caruso (Italy) for Atari 8-bit computers.

This Blitz clone (Page 6, 1985) puts us in control of a plane flying over a landscape with buildings of different heights. The player must drop bombs to destroy them and clear his path until he lands.

This is the third game developed by Caruso using CrossLib, a framework that can be compiled for around 200 eight-bit computers and consoles without changing the code.

As with its previous projects Cross Chase and Cross Shoot, the new game supports both tile-based and no graphics (ASCII graphics) on more than a dozen cross-compilers.
