Mike "Homesoft" Langer brings us the Atari port of Magical Fairy Force, Average Software's unique fighting game originally released in late May for the Atari 5200 console.

In the title, eight characters face off in a battle for the fate of the kingdom of Fairy Land, threatened by the forces of the evil Zevasha.

The player can face the computer or another real opponent through a split screen, where they can take power-ups and increase their shooting power. Each match ends when one of the fighters loses all their flight energy or health points.

Ryan Witmer, creator of the unique shooter, is working on an expanded version for compatible computers under the title Magical Fairy Force: Champion Edition.

It is recommended to use a trackball for better accuracy, as well as setting the game to NTSC video mode.

It should be remembered that Average Software has already released other titles for the Atari 5200, such as Ratcatcher and RealSports Curling.
