New labyrinths and dangers to overcome are what Great Green Adventure 2: Prologue brings us, a sequel to the game created by Daniel "Dely" Koźmiński (code/graphics) and Jakub "Zlew" Machnio (music).
This time, Greg - the amphibian protagonist - must navigate a labyrinth populated by ghosts, who will try to prevent him from collecting the keys he needs to regain the freedom of his girlfriend Shazzypants.
Great Green Adventure 2 won first place in the Wild category at Lost Party 2019, a new demo party open to all 8-bit platforms that took place from July 11 to 14 in the town of Licheń Stary, in the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, in central-western Poland.
For those who - like us - have problems loading it, you can use two ways: the easiest is to usethe XFORMER 10 emulator. Then, on the lead-colored screen, corresponding to DOS II+, type the command DIR and press the Enter key.
Then, type the name of the executable GGA2PROLCOM and press the Enter key. This will execute the file with the .com extension.
The second alternative, valid for Altirra emulator users, is to configure the program as follows:

System/Firmware/Operating System&Basic - Autoselect
System/Memory Config - 1088K
System/Video - PAL, Standard Video
System/CPU Options - 6502/6502C, Enable illegal instructions, Shadow ROMs in fast RAM
It is worth remembering thatthe first version of Great Green AdventureIt was originally presented during the 20th Atari Last Party - held in the city of Opalenica (Poland) in early 2018.
