Czech composer Adam J. Sporka released this week "For Ember", an album with 18 chiptune songs composed using an Atari 800XL computer.

Fifteen of the tracks are original Sporka compositions; one track is an arrangement of "Scarborough Fair", an old English tune; another an arrangement of the song "Dare Master" for the Wasteland Wailers, composed by Adam and Yondy.

Finally, the last tune is a cover of "People of the Land" from the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance, originally by Jan Valta.

The tunes were created between 2009 and 2019 using Raster Music Tracker software. Each track was exported as a separate .xex executable file and played on the Atari computer using AVGCart. The signal was recorded at Green Lobster Recording Studios, located in Graz, Austria.

The album is available on Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, Deezer, Amazon and SoundCloud.More information at theFor Ember official website
