Musical remake of the Alternate Reality intro

Jace Hall pleasantly surprises us with a recreation of the immortal melody from Alternate Reality - The City, an RPG game released by the North American company Datasoft in 1985.
"I've always thought the opening music for AR on the Atari 8-bit computer was one of the best pieces of music ever created at the time. I recently listened to it again, and while it was still amazing, it didn't have the same impact on me as it once did in the late 80s. It doesn't sound epic," Hall recounts on the AtariAge forum.
For this reason, the composer dedicated himself to searching the Internet for a version that was worthy of the original composed by the talented Gary Gilbertson.
"Unfortunately I couldn't find anything that satisfied me. So I decided to recreate the song to be as close to the original as possible using modern technology; and at the same time, improve it to what it sounded like to me (or how I actually perceived it) when I first heard it in my younger years," he said.
Indeed, while Hall's version pays tribute to the original, it also renews it by injecting it with a dreamlike atmosphere, with imposing touches. All this despite having been restricted to the final part of the intro.
Finally, he left open the possibility of composing a version of the full melody in the near future.
