José Tomás Parga (Chile) published this Friday the final version of his romhack of the classic Montezuma's Revenge (Parker Brothers, 1984) for Atari 8-bit computers.
Let us remember that in MayParga released a demo with 13 new rooms. Under the title ofMontezuma Again!, the game brings us a total of 72 rooms, most of them completely new and very difficult to complete.

"I hope to release new (easier) pyramids and rooms in the future. Due to the high level of difficulty, I have set the total lives to 200, so you can explore as much as you can," says the programmer.on the official blog of the game
He revealed that he got permission from Slovak programmer Martin "MatoSimi" Šimecek toUsing your AtariMapMaker programand simplify the process of generating new rooms for Montezuma.

"I call it MonteMaker, which allows for quick design of rooms, items and enemy placement. It also creates the XEX file automatically, all in a graphical way," he notes.
Finally, he said that the next step is to continue improving MonteMaker and making more pyramids. "I hope to publish it (MonteMaker) in the future; but for now, it is still in its infancy," he added.
