Simply unstoppable. In less than two months, Vladimir "John Von Neumann" Zúñiga (Chile) surprises us with his third game for the Atari 2600 console.

The project, which still does not have a name, puts us behind the wheel of a vehicle - whose design is inspired by the classic Spy Hunter (SEGA, 1983) - that must avoid other cars, since each collision reduces its speed.

"It's more of a game of improving times. There are no lives. You just have to try to achieve the shortest time possible," Zúñiga told Atariteca.

The most surprising thing is that it took the author only "one afternoon and a lunch break" to develop this game, which joins his previous creations:DrakkoandKnight Guy in low res world

Regarding the latter, the programmer points out that it now has 21 screens, music and some sound effects. "In fact, it has two secrets that can be discovered if you perform actions or stand in specific places."

In addition, the score is linked to the number of lives: so if the player passes the level with all lives, he gets a better score.

"John Von Neumann" indicates that this is a much more complex project, which means that there are more variables involved in each action.

"It's almost finished, but I need to get a Harmony cartridge to test it on real hardware," he said.
