    Spanish version of Laura for Atari computers

    ArSoft Corporation released this Saturday the Spanish version of Laura, a remarkable adventure and logic game for Atari 8-bit computers.


    "Our friend Laura has been wandering around the world for a long time. This time she stopped in this part of the planet, which you can see on the attached map. It's impressive!" Arkadiusz "Larek" Lubaszka announced on the Official fanpage of the game


    The game's translation team consisted of the editor of the Atariteca blog; and Paweł "QTZ" Kuczmański (Poland), who was also in charge of the corresponding editing.

    This is the eighth translation of the game that combines adventure and puzzles; it was presented in November 2016.during the Silly Venture festivalTo date, Laura has versions in Polish (original), German, Russian, English, Czech, French, Italian and Spanish.


    Like the original, this version of Laura requires an Atari XL/XE computer with a minimum of 128Kb of RAM and optional stereo sound.

    Kuczmański points out that the Laura Builder Kit, a program that allows you to generate game levels in the new language. Although it does not have a native tool for special characters, it is possible to activate them using a hexadecimal editor.


    Likewise, "QTZ" announced that the next project is to publish a cassette version of "Laura" with the levels developed by other people for thecontest called by ArSoft Corp. last October

    CONTROLS

    • Joystick: Controls the protagonist's movement.
    • Shooting: Throws a rock at the indicated location.
    • Shooting (when you have bombs): Drops a bomb at the indicated location.
    • Shooting (in front of a machine): Activates the machine.
    • Right-Left: Repeat this quickly to get Laura out of a swamp.
    • ESC: Aborts the current game and returns to the title screen.
