Sergio "Dogdark" Marchant (Chile) published new videos of his basic course to learn how to program in assembly language for Atari computers.

In the fourth chapter of his project, he addresses validations, as well as JMP and JSR detour instructions.

The fifth episode talks about macros, which are very important when working with long codes, as they allow us to create subroutines to be called repeatedly in different parts of a program.

Finally, in the sixth video we will learn what nibbles are and the difference that exists with Word; in addition, we will create a code knowing the display list.

Through the Facebook group ATARI CHILE, Marchant has hinted that he might compile the episodes on DVD. Also, in the next installments the topic of Display List Interrupt (DLI) will be addressed "because we are going to make the first editable program that records data on both cassette and diskette."

It is worth remembering that the project started at the end of June this year. You can find the first three videos of "Dogdark" Marchantin this link
