Vladimir "John Von Neumann" Zúñiga (Chile) surprises us again with another game for the Atari 2600 console: this time, the platformer named Knight Guy.
Through Atariteca, Zúñiga indicated that his new program is inspired by similar games such as the classic Montezuma's return and even a bit of Megaman (NES), "but with the limitations of the 2600."
"The idea is not to just pass it, but to pass it several times to get a higher score," he said.
Just likehis shoot'em up Drakko, this new game is also written in Batari Basic language.

"Since I've only been using the language for about a month, I've had to do quite a few fixes and even almost rewrite it from scratch for the current version of KnightGuy, which has been successfully tested on the VCS," he said.

And the first version had serious video signal problems; in particular, frame skipping on real hardware, which were not visible in the emulator. Likewise, "John Von Neumann" added a screen ofgame over

Finally, he expressed his interest in -in the future- developing a game for the XL/XE line of computers.
