Altirra 3.10, new version of the best Atari 8-bit emulator

Recently, Avery "Phaeron" Lee released version 3.10 of Altirra, considered the best program to emulate Atari 8-bit computers, as well as the Atari 5200 and XEGS consoles.
Among the many new features, the System Configuration dialog box stands out, with emulation settings and contextual help. The user interface also features improved help on the command line, as well as the option to customize window subtitles.
On the other hand, additional debugging modes are added to detect more programming errors; in addition to new modes to start executable files.
One-click disk image conversion between DOS/MyDos/SpartaDOS file systems has also been added. Automatic file renaming on write has also been added to Disk Explorer.
Highlights include improvements in emulation of expansions such as the Ultimate 1MB internal card; the VBXE graphics card; the Rapidus Accelerator turbo card; the real multi-mode cartridge The! Cart, among others.
Altirra currently doesn't emulate Incognito, and U1MB probably shouldn't be able to be enabled in 800 mode since it relies on XL/XE features. The main reason I don't emulate Incognito despite its relationship to U1MB is that it would kind of mess up the emulator internally by requiring XL/XE features in 800 mode everywhere, even worse than those required by U1MB and Rapidus.
Altirra does not emulate the Incognito board because, as Lee explains, "it would make some kind of internal mess of the emulator by requiring XL/XE functions everywhere."
Let's not forget that Altirra can simulate the Atari 400/800, 1200XL, 600/800XL and 130XE computers completely and, if that were not enough, with the same speeds as the original hardware - including peripherals such as disk and cassette players.
Altirra can be installed on any computer with a Pentium processor or higher (a minimum of 1GHz is recommended) and running Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or 10 operating system in any of its versions (32-bit or x64 editions).
