Competitions with classic Atari video games and attractive prizes is what theSpring 2017, which will take place this Saturday, October 28th starting at 1:00 p.m. in Chile.
The event will begin with the installation of Atari computers and other consoles, as well as the testing of loading programs onto 8-bit computers with modern devices and peripherals, such as the SIO2SD.
At 6:00 p.m. three championships will be held simultaneously with the gamesWorld Karate Championship(Epyx, 1986) on Atari computers; as well as Video Olimpics (Atari, 1978) and Warlords (Atari, 1981), on Atari 2600 consoles.
First place in each competition will receive a commemorative mug with a reproduction of the label or cover of their favorite game.
Meanwhile, since the topic of the meeting will be Nintendo brand consoles, there will bea mug with a design by Vladimir "John Von Neumann" Zúñigafor whoever carries the most unique NES clone.
As if that were not enough, it will be raffled among the attendees.a copy of the book "Art of Atari"by Tim Lapetino; as well asVarious multi-game boards for Atari computersdeveloped by Francisco DomÃnguez, member of the Facebook group "Atari Chile".
The Atariada Primavera 2017 is organized by RetroGames forum enthusiasts and will take place at Lord Cochrane N° 209, an event hall in the Torre Norte (reference Metro Moneda) in Santiago de Chile. Admission is free.
