The recent PolyJam 2016, held from January 29 to 31 at the Warsaw University of Technology (Poland), left us with a unique game for Atari 8-bit computers, called «Grim Ritual»
It was programmed by Tomasz "TDC" Cieślewicz in the Action! language and is also the first work of designer Klaudia "Cherryl" Wiśniewska for the Atari 8-bit computers.
You play as a gravedigger dragging coffins around a graveyard, capturing ghosts. The animation is fairly fast on emulators, so TDC recommends playing it on real Atari hardware.
It should be noted that PolyJam was held as part of the Global Game Jam 2016, which brought together programmers, graphic artists, sound engineers, and level designers to create a game in 48 hours.
