The researcherSeth KadishHe created a map of the Pac-Man maze with key points that allow the popular "Pac-Man" to stay away from the ghosts that chase him.

Thenumbers in purpleindicate thelocation of common pills-that Pac-Man devours as he moves around the board. Meanwhile, theBold numbersThey indicate where the "power pills" with which our hero cancounterattack the ghosts-at least for a few seconds.
"Thedarker areasare considered themost dangerous, since you have to go through agreater distancebefore reaching an intersection. Thelower halfof the labyrinth is considered to havegreatest difficultyto clean; particularly, thebottom rowwhere it resultseasier to be corneredby ghosts," explains Kadish on his blog Vizual Statistix.
However, he warns that there are a couple ofglitchesthat affect the map. First, that hThere are four intersections(highlighted in ablue box) where theghosts can't turnupwards, unless they are "scared mode" - that is, after Pac-Man has devoured an energy pill.
Secondly, we have the so-called "hiding place" (highlighted in agreen box), where the player canremain indefinitely without being attacked-as long as the ghosts haven't detected that Pac-Man moved to that spot.
