    Original Godzilla artists sign Atari cartridges

    Two actors who participated in the first Godzilla films stamped their signatures on cartridges witha homebrew game for Atari 2600 about the mythical Japanese monster


    It is aboutHaruo Nakajima(left) andAkira Takarada(right) who participated in theSpooky Empire's Mayhem conventionheld between May 30 and June 1 in Orlando (Florida, USA).

    Nakajima is the manbehind the disguiseoriginal: was in chargebring the terrible monster to lifein twelve feature films. Meanwhile, Takarada played the role ofSailor Hideto Ogatain the first movie "Gojira" (1954); he also starred in five other films in the saga.


    In the game, conceived byScott DaytonGodzilla destroys eight different cities; the player must be careful not to be sburied by the buildings, in addition to evading theattacks from your rival, heRodan monster

    This is aplayable prototype, developed in order to present it to the aforementioned artists. However, Dayton announced that he is preparing aextended version of the gamewith more cities, other enemies and acooperative modetwo-player.
