Setting up your keyboard to play with the Atari800Win PLus 2.7 emulator

We are going to configure the Atari800Win PLus 2.7 emulator to make it easier for us to get hooked... I mean, enjoy our Atari games again.

Step 1.-Once the emulator is loaded, we go to theAtari menuand we select the optionJoysticks.

Step 2.-By default, the program is configured to use thenumeric keypad(to the right of your keyboard, then) to play. My recommendation is thatchangefor the second option:Arrows + RCtrl as firewith which they can use the keyboard arrows to move; while the keyRight control(the one just to the left of the arrows) will serve as a buttonfire(shot).

Optionally, you can selectKeysetA and/or KeysetB.

The warning in question reads as follows:"Keys that are used for joystick emulation will be excluded from further functions. Be aware of this when defining your key pattern."In good Christian terms, thekeysthat we choose to emulate thejoystickThey will no longer serve any other functionsONLY AND WHEN WE USE THE EMULATORThat is to say, outside of the program, they will perform their normal functions.

Below we are shown a"cross"where we can choose the keys that we want to comply with the movements of the joystick.

Finally, in all cases, foractivateour selection, we press the button"OK"
